India Archive MusicThe label India Archive Music founded by New York's Lyle Wachovsky lives up to its name, being primarily an archive with records of Indian music. In addition to archiving partly historical recordings, Wachovsky publishes the recordings produced by him whenever possible on CD - meanwhile almost 70 in number. Of great significance in this collection are without doubt the recordings of Ustad Vilayat Khan and his son Shujaat Khan. But also the broad range of his collection deserves full acknowledgement. Thus, there is hardly any instrument that is not duly represented, and the list of musicians reads like the "who's who" of Indian classics. |

Maharishi Technology CorporationFounded by followers of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the company MTC was originally to produce electric cars. Shortly before the first vehicles were scheduled to run off the conveyor belt, the big automotive producers, as through a miracle, rediscovered in their drawers long forgotten designs for electric cars. Unable to match this competition, MTC switched to the import and production of ayurvedic products - at that time alone in this branch far and wide. |
